The 7 Reasons Why you Should Promote on a Forum

One thing I can tell you from a personal perspective on being an internet marketer...we love FREE. You can't really beat Free Advertising.

Facing the never ending challenge of "guru" and "new products" that come out..I'm constantly fearing what my next move is going to be. Should I safelist? Traffic? Forums?

I've kicked and screamed through endless amounts of safelists emails, traffic sites that send me robots. I however, can always count on Forums.

Why?

Forums are a great base of potential people. Especially when you find the one that is suitable

for your business.

I personally run a forum (no, I'm not telling you what it is..I'm sure you can figure it out)

Anyway, when I started this forum I had one goal in mind: marketing, networking and everything else rolled into one.

I've seen forums come and go. I've seen forums that have been shut down and hacked into. The one thing I still and Will not tolerate is SPAM. Yes, sometimes spam can be good (if you are just browsing through email and you spam back the person that spammed you.)

There are 7 reasons why advertising Forums works

1) you already have possible contacts. Most of these forums have regular members that come on to check out the latests posts

2) Some forums have a mod system installed where it rewards its members for posting. This is very true. Members are encouraged to participate.

3) More Thrilling than a safelist. Agreed. I only use 1 safelist. The one thing you don't have to worry about with forums is your email being kicked through the dirt. Admins are the only ones that have your email address (trust me..we are way too busy to sell it)

4) A little directory rolled into one. On certain forums I have noticed that a great deal of people like to incorporate a lot of different websites. Kind of like a DMOZ. I personally like this idea.

5) Networking Extreme. These members are actually looking forward. When your on an advertising or business forum..people want to see what you have! They are constantly trying to find new things.

6) Did I mention that moderators are wonderful people? They keep it clean. Keeping it clean means no spam. No double posting.

7) Here's the most important part....ready?

FREE. Never any cost. No redirects to a splash page. No annoying sounds. No stupid flying pop up across the screen.

In conclusion. I highly advise that you find some sort of forum (google) and start your posting.

Remember...Free is good.
